Now in their 6th year, the CRN Women & Diversity in Channel Awards are back for 2023, to champion not only women but also wider diversity across the industry. That challenge is now firmly on the UK agenda, but far from a solved problem. Women are still well under-represented, and it’s time to shout about the accomplishments of women in the channel, not because they are women, but because their accomplishments are worth shouting about. Spotlighting firms and individuals not only tackling gender issues, but making diversity, in all senses, a priority within their businesses can play an important role. So, the Women and Diversity in Channel Awards launches with a new company category for 2023 for the Best Diversity Recruitment Initiative of the Year. They’re also continuing with key individual categories including Diversity Champion of the Year and Mental Health Champion of the Year to recognise individuals advocating for these pressing issues and helping make the IT channel a more inclusive and nurturing place to work.
