The Women in Tech Excellence Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements—still a minority of the tech workforce. If you work with women who you think you should be rewarded, or if you think you deserve some recognition from your peers, Computing wants to hear from you!

The tech workforce has become more diverse in recent years, but the gender ratio is difficult to shift. Women are entering tech in larger numbers, but they’re often paid less than male colleagues and are more likely to quit. There are still too few women leaders, and women-led ventures are less likely to be funded than those led by men. If tech wants more women leaders, it needs to show them what’s possible.

The Women in Tech Excellence Awards recognise trail-blazing women and provide inspiration for younger women curious about a career in our industry. The Awards promote talented women at all career stages from Graduate of the Year up to Technology Leader of the Year.

The awards are in their eighth year and have already celebrated achievements of over 2,500 women. And they publish videos, galleries and articles to ensure hundreds of thousands of people can see for themselves the talent that’s out there. Winners will be announced at an exclusive awards ceremony – a glittering celebration of inspirational women in tech.
